Jury Duty 2nd Day

Still windy out there.  I managed to call on two customers this morning.  Everyone is understanding but still business continues to go on with me off the grid.

There is a whiner in every bunch.  Someone who wants to stir  the drama.  We've got one in the bunch.  I try to ignore that person, we are here for the duration regardless.  Why do people find fuel in bringing out the negative.  Still.  1 out of 14 being a whiner isn't bad.

Not a lot different today.  Hopefully we will be done tomorrow.  I sure hope so because I've hardly slept.  I haven't really thought about the case, but just life in general.  I don't think anyone brings a child into this world hoping they will become a drug addict, thief, rapist, or even a murderer, but still we have drug addicts, thieves, rapist and murderers.  As I look around, everyone is someone's son or daughter.  Many of us have children of their own.

How do we keep our children from going down that path?  You can't isolate them.  Eventually they all must go out into the world.  If they don't have any exposure to the dangers of the world, how will they know which choices are right?  At the same time if e expose them too much to an environment then do we normalize them to these problems?

Obviously there are no perfect answers.  We all do the best that we can.  With the exception of a few very disturbed people in the world, I don't think many of us are pruning our children to be the perfect criminal.

There was plenty to do when I got home to keep my mind occupied.  A wonderful meal, sit down with the family, work on some bugs in TAS, order some parts, and squeeze a little design time in before I headed to bed

PS, jotted this down last night but was too tired to type.
